Totem Pole

Project
Groups will lay out the equipment in the way shown on diagram provided. Then the group must follow the instructions to complete the task. The task is to recreate the totem pole from a distance using the attached rope to manoeuvre it into place, under the constraints set. Successful completion is a self supporting totem pole in the correct numerical order.

Activity

This is an activity and a focal point – which we currently lack. We would like to replace our rather tired flag poles with a totem pole, we see this as a wooden structure carved to reflect our activities, perhaps involving local schools in a competition to design it. We would then use that totem to create the above activity.

Which is a simple set of creating a series of smaller block representations and instructions how to re-create it.
