Longridge Centre

Longridge is a centre of inspiration and excellence for young people of all backgrounds and abilities. Our water and land activities are designed to promote the development of young people who use the site as staff, volunteers and visitors allowing them to achieve their full physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as members of our community.

We are recognised by the British Canoe Union (BCU), Royal Yacht Association (RYA) and accredited by AALA, Bucks County Council as a resource for youth services and LOCOG as an Olympic Training Centre for rowing and kayak.

28,000 young people visit Longridge every year; we want to increase this number to 100,000. To do this we need to build new facilities and activities, and have identified 8 distinct projects that will enable Longridge to fulfil its full potential, and are seeking sponsors and funders to make this a reality.
