Ade Adepitan MBE

Ade is a Paralympic Wheelchair Basketball player who plays with Aces based at Stoek mandevuille Stdium in Aylesbury.


Having survived polio as a youngster, Ade has gone on to compete as a wheelchair basketball player on an international level.

Ade is also a television presenter for the BBC, hosting shows including "X-Change" on CBBC, and reporting for the travel show "Holiday". He also appears on the BBC One "Hip-Hop" ident as the lead dancer and reports for Sportsround.

He has represented Great Britain at the Paralympics in Athens in 2004, where his team won a Bronze medal, and in Sydney in 2000 as well as competing in the European and World Championships (winning Silver and Gold respectively).
