Ben Gregory from the Vale of Aylesbury Athletics Club vaulted 4.25m to take the Inter Boys title. He has been invited to compete for England in the Schools International in Wales, as well as the UK School Games in Coventry in August for the South East England team. He has also been asked to Captain the team.
Alan Mckie retained his Senior High Jump title jumping 2.17m a new personal best and an advancement of 14cm from last year, Alan was included in the U20 European GB Squad competing in Hengelo, The Netherlands.
Other successes included a Silver for Milton Keynes Sadie Watts in the Inter Girls Javelin with a throw of 39.07m, and a Bronze for Chiltern's Clarice Underwood in the Inter Girls 100m.
Other notable performances included Cameron Lake 4th in the Senior High Jump, Vicky Fouhy 4th in the Senior Girls 800m Final, Sam Taylor-Outridge 4th in the Junior Boys Javelin, Eliot Winter 5th in the Inter Boys 1500mSC - he has also been selected for the UK School Games, along with Sadie and Clarice. Sadie has also been selected for the England Team with Ben Gregory.
Many athletes achieved national standards and personal best performances.
