The Day the Paralympics Came HomeSeptember 17th was a historic day for Stoke Mandeville and Buckinghamshire as it was the day the Paralympics officially came home. The handover celebrations from the Beijing Paralympic Games were marked with a day of celebrations in the Aylesbury Town Centre and at Stoke Mandeville Stadium involving almost 300 school children from across the county.
