On Tuesday 20th March, Bucks Sport hosted a Disability Sport festival for young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

The festival was attended by 86 students from 10 different schools both special and mainstream.  Students had the opportunity to try 3 different sports activities from a choice which included Badminton, Athletics, Tri Golf, Cricket, Boccia and Kurling.  The sessions were lead by experienced coaches and supported by young leaders from Wye Valley School.

It was a fantastic day and the feed back that has been received from the young people and the schools has been really positive.  The event is the last in a series of festivals organised by Bucks Sport for young people with a range of disabilities.
