The London 2012 Inspire programme recognises innovative and exceptional projects that are directly inspired by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Bucks Youth Games, is a multi-sport Olympic style event which is taking place at the birthplace of the Paralympic Games, Stoke Mandeville Stadium and The Mandeville School and Speciailist Sports College on Saturday 26th June. Young people from across the County will come together, representing their Local Authority area in one of 7 sports and hopefully be inspired to join a local sports club and take part in sport for the rest of their lives.
Seb Coe, Chair, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games said: “The Inspire programme is ensuring the legacy of the 2012 Games starts now as projects like the Bucks Youth Games are enabling people in Buckinghamshire to make positive life changes.”
