| Chris became Chairman of the Bucks CC Football Club more than 15 years ago. During this time the club has more than doubled in size and is now a large, vibrant club with 16 teams, and more than 300 young footballers! Chris took it upon himself to update the club’s facilities and invested £2000 of his own money to purchase and install floodlights. Since then the club has never looked back. Recently Chris developed a new website to | help the club communicate with members. Thanks to Chris the club has come a long way, which was recognised a few years ago when it received the FA Charter Standard Community Award. However, for the players, it’s finding Chris putting up the nets on a Saturday before a match, and ensuring everything is ready, which makes him a real hero. And that alone inspires them to go out on the pitch and get those wins!. |
