Leisure Opportunities for People with Learning Disabilities
Get Active is a new project which aims to support adults with learning disabilities to access sport, leisure and physical activity.
We aim to run a programme of activities through out the year based in local sports facilities. We hope there will be activities to suit all abilities.
Activities will be run by trained and qualified sports coaches assisted by volunteer helpers.
We hope the project will encourage everyone to be more active to help benefit health.
What activities will I be able to do?
We will offer a range of activities. We will ask participants for feedback about activities and what they would like to do.
