On Thursday 26 June six teams entered from five schools the Y6 Round 1 Games, ie Carrington Junior, Claytons, Great Kingshill, The Meadows and Loudwater. The event was packed with sport activities - 5-a-side Football, Hockey, Mini Tennis, High-5 Netball, Table Tennis (singles and doubles), Tag Rugby and Kwik Cricket. Pupils enjoyed playing their sport at a competitive level. Great Kingshill won the games with a total of 114 points. Fair Play, Best Player and Participation certificates were handed out including gold medals for the winning team.
The final results were....
1st - Great Kingshill - 114 points
2nd - Claytons - 108 points
3rd - Carrington Junior A team - 108 points
4th - Loudwater - 74 points
5th - Carrington Junior B team - 54 points
6th - The Meadows - 26 points
Great Kingshill then went on to win the Y6 Round 2 Games held at Wycombe High School on Wednesday 2 July to go through to the final held at the Wye Valley School on 11 July.
A big thank you must be extended to all the Y7, Y10 and sixth form students who helped out during the first round at The Wye Valley School.
