Youth Players / Umpires course

The Milton Keynes and District Cricket Association is holding a 1 evening course aimed specifically at youth players and parents wishing to stand as umpires in future friendly matches and thus provide an introduction to umpiring cricket matches......

Obviously this course cannot possibly cover all the Laws of Cricket - but will cover the basic laws and those which require the frequent attention of the Umpire.

Clubs may nominate up to 4 persons to attend this course, the charge for which will be £2.50 each to cover the cost of a copy of the current MCC Laws for each attendee. The course is sponsored by The MK Parks Trust, Sport Milton Keynes (if funding approved), MKDCA and training supplied by the Bucks Assn. of Cricket Umpires and Scorers.

Initially only member clubs of MKDCA may apply for these places as response is likely to be heavy.
Responses by latest 1st April, but be warned, once the 50 places have gone other applications will be rejected.

Get yours in FIRST!

Youth players should be aged between 12 and 18 years, regardless of skill or ability, and may be of either sex.
