Local Partners Support the Bucks Sport Talent PasSport
To help identify, celebrate and support our most talented sports performers Bucks Sport has recently launched a Talent PasSport. The scheme is open to Buckinghamshire athletes that are current members of a home nation team or listed in the top 10 of any national age group rankings.Bucks Sport are working with athletes and partners and to extend build the current offer of support. In developing a support package over 70 talented athletes have been consulted to identify the additional support required for athletes to reach their potential. Evidence suggests that discounted access to physiotherapy and sports science are integral to this.
In recognition of this seven local physiotherapy clinics are offering Talent PasSport holders discounted treatment. In addition Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College are offering support through physiological testing at discounted rates, this will help equip athletes for the rigors of their training and competition.
Bucks Sport would very much like to hear from anyone who is able to contribute to the scheme, be it in sponsorship or in-kind contributions, please contact Liz Tapper for further details (ltapper[at]buckssport.org , 01296 585884).
