The clubs identified ensure that any swimmer with a disability should never have more than a 30 minute drive to be able to access a club with a suitable structure for integration. The clubs identified will be given training on integration and it is also hoped that the coaches will be able to get support and guidance from regional and national disability coaches.
These plans are only in their initial stages but it is hoped that once in place their will be a smooth disability swimmer pathway available within the three counties.
