Playing football since the age of seven, Matt loves the game and sport overall. At his secondary school in Buckingham his talent was spotted and encouraged by Partnership Development Manager, Emma Nulty. While studying his GCSE’s Matt completed his Sports Leaders Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership. “It was a bit difficult at times trying to do both but I really enjoyed it. It gave me a good grounding in lesson planning, building a portfolio for coaching and actually going out to schools to coach. It made me realise this was something I could really do.”
