Alternatively if none of the above listed placements interest you, please drop an email to Stephen Green, Sports Development Officer, sgreen[at]buckssport.org and state what kind of placement you would like. For example: a particular sport/or assisting sports sessions for kids with disabilities, what area ideally you would like your placement to be based, how many hours of your time you would like to give per week, and finally a bit about yourself: i.e. how old you are, what current leadership experience you have, and information about any future career aspirations you may have related to sport.

Football Assistant Coach - QPR Development Centre
The Queens Park Rangers Football Development Centre are looking for one or more volunteers to assist a coach with Junior Coaching Sessions. The role would involve helping set up the session/equipment. Assisting with skill tasks, Help with the setting up SAQ warm up and assisting a coach. The aim of the centre is Organising and increasing awareness and participation in football.

Residential Summer Camp Helper - The Active Training and Education Trust
Would you like to help at a Residential Camp for children aged 8-16 over the summer holiday period? Volunteers are required to attend a 7 day residential training course in April 2009 to enable them to become an 'ATE monitor'. After successful training, monitors will then go on to work on a summer camp where they will lead a group of children in activities, read them bed-time stories, eat at their table and become an integral part of their group. This is an opportunity to have a wonderfully rewarding time and receive a huge confidence boost from the work. Many previous monitors have moved into a career working with children as a result of this training. Summer Camp Superweeks run from 27th July to 30th August for a mixture of 5, 7 and 9 days.

FRCC need people to help coach cricket to younsters aged 6 upwards. Working as part of the youth development team you will help the coaches train the youngsters and assist on trips/events.
This is a fun young club, where various opportunities for development are available to individuals.
Support on Offer- Each assistant will have a fully qualified coach who will mentor them. Senior members of the development team are available and trained to advise staff where required.

The role will involve assisting a lead coach with a group of young people aged 7-11 years who have a variety of learning and/or physical disabilities.

Assistant Coach Chalfont - St Giles Cricket Club
Chalfont St Giles Cricket Club would really appreciate you ’doing a favour’ at the club by assisting at the junior practice sessions, with different ages of young people ranging from 9 – 15 years of age.
