Stewart George

Stewart George lives in Lane End and has been a Buckinghamshire resident for over 30 years. He is Chair of Buckinghamshire Primary Care Trust, the organisation that commissions healthcare for people living in Buckinghamshire and works to improve people’s health and wellbeing in partnership with Buckinghamshire County Council and other stakeholders. He has been involved as a non executive within the NHS for 20 years.

Believing that health and exercise are inextricably linked, Stewart is a keen runner and a founder member of Marlow Striders. He has been involved in their activities as part of their management team for almost 20 years too.

His interest in sport as a spectator is wide but rugby is his first love and he is a season ticket holder at Northampton, where he was brought up.

Outside of his healthcare duties, Stewart advises and trains employers on employment law and HR strategy.
