The redevelopment of Stoke Mandeville Stadium has transformed the original sports centre into a state-of-theart leisure complex to enable the British Wheelchair Sports Foundation to provide a venue of the highest quality for all users. Paralympic Pre-Games Training Camp Venues Announced
Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury, the birthplace of the Paralympics, National Centre for Disability Sport and the home wheelchair sport, is amongst several Bucks facilities that will feature in London 2012’s Pre-Games Training Camp Guide for Paralympic sports.

3rd March 2008 - The London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) announced today which facilities around the country are to be included in the final Guide of Pre-Games Training Camps, which will be made available to National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) around the world.
