Grabbing all the headlines has been Marlow’s Greg Searle whose comeback in a GB rowing vest 18 years after his Olympic triumph in Barcelona and 10 years after his last international appearance secured him a Gold Medal as part of the 8 in the Rowing World Cup Regatta in Bled, Slovakia.
Also striking gold in Bled was Katherine Grainger as part of the Women’s Double. Olympic Gold Medallist and Marlow Rowing Club member Mark Hunter makes his long awaited return from injury at the Munich World Cup on June 18th, this competition will represent his first international outing alongside Zac Purchase since their Beijing triumph in 2008.
