National Time Trial Championships In Bucks

Triple Olympic Champion and Tour De France hero Bradley Wiggins headed a quality field in the British Cycling Time Trial Championships which took place on the roads around Botolph Claydon in Bucks this Sunday (September 6). He claimed an impressive victory ahead of a strong field to take his first national road title. The vicrory enables him to wear the jersey of the National Champion into next year's Tour De France as he aims for a first ever podium finish by a Britain. The senior womens title was won by Olympic Silver medalist, Emma Pooley who held off a a determined challenge from fellow Olympian Wendy Houvenaghal to take the national title.
