Inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Community Games draws on the London 2012 legacy to bring communities together to enjoy sporting and cultural activities. These events are taking place up and down the country and, with over 30 taking place in Bucks and MK in 2012, we're hoping for a blossoming effect this year in 2013. ...more
Thursday 20th June will see 1,500 Primary and Secondary school pupils from across Bucks and MK come together to take part in a ‘mini-Olympic’ style festival of sport at the Sainsbury’s School Games. ...more

Simon Munn is a long standing member of the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball team having been in the squad since the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta, USA. He won Bronze with the team in 2004 and 2008 Paralympic Games while also winning Gold at the 2005 Paralympic World Cup. Simon was also apart of the team that won gold at the European Wheelchair Basketball Championships in 2011.

Simon will be competing in his 6th consecutive Paralympic Games when he competes at the Paralympic Games in London in 2012.
