20 year old Milton Keynes AC member Joey Duck has been training and competing in the 100m, 200m and occasionally the 400m since she was about 11 years old. She has had the opportunity to compete for England and Great Britain, getting her first vest in 2004 and she remained unbeaten that year resulting in her nomination for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.

Since then she has won over twelve national titles, including three English Schools. In 2009 Joey won her first senior national medal in the 200m at the World Trials getting Silver.

Interesting Facts
When Joey was 14 she was ranked as number one in Europe in her age group at 200m and number one in the UK for 100m.
