22 year old Andrew Daniels, is one of the top GB paddlers in marathon and flat water racing. Andy competes nationally and internationally as part of the GB squad in both sprint and marathon. In 2007 he became double national champion in K1 (kayak single) and K2 (kayak double). He was Youth Olympic gold medallist in Sydney 2007, winning there in the K2 1000m
Andy is currently a member of the Mens K4 sprint squad who were World Championship finalists in 2009 and are aiming for success at Dorney in 2012. Andy has been a
full time student in High Wycombe studying video production and a full time athlete at the National Academy at Bisham Abbey.

Interesting Facts
Andy won two Silver medals at World Junior Marathon Championships.
His brother was an international kayaker in the same discipline and event.
He used to have to break into the canoe club as a junior to train after being told he was too young to be given a key.
