Bucks Fly the Flag

Bucks Fly the Flag
Many Buckinghamshire athletes are currently striving to achieve their ultimate goal of representing their country in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Listed here is our initial selection of athletes with Buckinghamshire connections who we believe have a great chance of representing Great Britain on home soil in 2012.

The list includes a selection of established international athletes, many of whom are already Olympic and Paralympic medallists as well as exciting young talent breaking through into the international ranks for the first time. It includes household names from high profile sports such as Athletics, Swimming, Rowing and Cycling as well as from less well known sports such as Handball and Target Shooting and Sitting Volleyball.
