The project helps to support sessions of physical activity for older people across the county and works to start up new sessions where activities are needed, working with lunch clubs, sheltered accommodation units and community groups.
Exercising is a great way to meet new people and there are lots of different activities to try. Find something at the right level from gentle exercise sessions, Tai Chi or Bowls to Tennis and Badminton.
Focussing on older adults the Fit for Life project aims to help people to maintain their independence by offering them sessions to leave them happier, healthier and Fit for Life!
