Wycombe Wanderers, Reactivate Bucks and Hearts & Souls charity are teaming up to provide free tailored fitness classes to be held in Adams Park, starting in February/March 2012. Health checks will be held prior to the game against Rochdale this coming Saturday, 21st January between 12pm and pm in the Fair Play Room, next to the Vere Suite, and courses will be recommended based on the results of those checks.
The checks will be carried out by qualified nurses, focusing on blood pressure and pulse and suitable candidates will be offered free access to the 10 week fitness course. Literature on subjects such as exercise, diet and healthy lifestyle will also be provided on the day, and everyone who participates in a health check on the day will be entered into a draw for a signed Wycombe Wanderers shirt or football.
Hearts & Souls are a registered charity, founded in 1997 with all profits used to support cardiac rehabilitation, restoring physical fitness and confidence in post-operative heart patients. It provides tailored professional exercise programmes in local gyms and hospitals, overseen by qualified nurses and instructors.
