Volunteers needed for the Race for Life event
The Rye, High Wycombe, Sunday 10 June.
Race for Life is a women only 5k walk, jog or run raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
3000 women are expected to join the fight to beat cancer on 10th June and walk, jog or run 5k to help raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
There will be two events happening on that day at 11am & 3pm, the events cannot happen without volunteers so they really are crucial to the safe, smooth running of fundraising events.
Volunteers are needed to be course marshals and hand out medals, goody bags and water to all our participants. All volunteers will be given briefings on the day and no previous experience is required. Be part of a team that makes it happen!
The atmosphere on the day is incredible and you could be part of it. Whether you can spare the full day or part of the day we would really love to see you there. Preparations will be taking place on site from 6am so if you're an early riser you can come down and help set up the event or if you would like to just be part of the event then you'd be required to be on site by 9.45am for the morning event or 1.45pm for the afternoon event.
If you are interested in being part of the team please register at www.raceforlife.org/volunteer or contact Gemma Cookham, Event Manager: gemma.cookham@cancer.org.uk / 07918 650755.
