The Sports Development Unit will continue to develop the infrastructure that identifies and promotes opportunities for the community to become involved with and stay within sport and physical activity. This is achieved by working in partnership with other agencies and the local community to build a stronger, healthier and more active community.
We aim to:
- Provide information on all sporting activities and facilities within the District
- Increase the level of sports and leisure opportunities for Wycombe residents
- Provide support to clubs and other sports organisations and agencies in the District
- Develop strong sports partnerships within the District
- Provide opportunities for local people to access coach education programmes
- Recognise sporting achievement and provide support networks for our high performance athletes
