After leaving Aylesbury, the torch will travel through Waddesdon, before heading to Oxford, returning to Bucks briefly on 10th July to pass through Burnham and again on 24th July when is visits Denham, before making its way to London.
A total of 51 Torchbearers will carry the flame through Bucks; ranging from 13 year old Barney Smith, a promising young tennis player, ranked UK No1 at under 12’s level, with a dream of becoming a professional tennis player. To Ian Cousins, 63 and recently retired, he spends much of his time helping others through fund-raising, visiting the elderly and delivering meals.
So get into the Olympic spirit and support the Torchbearers by lining the route as the Torch passes near you. Full details of the route can be found here.
