The Youth Bank has the following funds:
Youth Opportunity Fund is a sum of money that is available from 2009-2011 to young people who are aged 13-19 years (up to 25 for young people with specific needs) across Buckinghamshire.
Youth Capital Fund is available to Buckinghamshire County Council to work in partnership with young people and other agencies to improve and increase facilities for young people.
Young people must be involved in deciding how and what this money is spent on.
The YOF can be used to develop and organise programmes and activities for yourselves and your peers as well as events in your local community. Activities can include: sports, arts and cultural events, community events, trips leisure and recreational.
The YCF can be used to build, convert and improve facilities such as skate parks, youth centres, or to buy resources such as ICT equipment for use by young people. Young people can also apply to the YCF for money to purchase small items/ equipment for their club or youth activity.
Any young person or groups of young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 for disabled young people) can apply to the grant panel for money to support activities for themselves and other young people as well as their local community.
The grant panels will meet on a regular basis and you will be notified as soon as possible after your grant application has been viewed by the panel .
