Available to applicants who have, through recommendation, the potential to represent Great Britain or England/Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland in their chosen sport. All applicants must reside within the District and be under 21 years of age.

Normally one Bursary is awarded a year for £1,500. In exceptional circumstances the money is divided between successful applicants. The deadline for applications is the 30 April each year.
