Type: Project
Funding available: Up to £1,000
Focus: Sports Clubs
Funding Cycle: Ongoing
The Daily Telegraph, in partnership with RBS, will now help those communities by awarding five £1,000 support packages each month for the next year to encourage the development of amateur and community sports clubs across the country.
In order to do so, we would like you to tell us about your club, your successes, those who have served above and beyond the call of duty, what your club has done or would like to do within your community, and how you would put your £1,000 grant to use.
Tell us in not more than 250 words why your community sports club needs a £1,000 grant and what use you would put it to.
Tell us about your successes, your events, the unsung heroes involved in your club and even your rising stars.
Clubs must have a minimum of 10 members and be deemed amateur.
Clubs must have been up and running for 12 months.
All sports are included and clubs can be multi-sports.
Each month The Daily Telegraph will feature the five winners in its sports section.
Monthly winners will be notified immediately.
Entries can be made from midnight on February 3, 2011.
