SRSN (Sport & Recreation for young people with Special Needs).Funding of up to £5,000 is available to encourage young people with disabilities to participate in sporting activities. Grants towards sports & recreational equipment to encourage those youngsters with special needs, particularly those with mobility, sensory and mental disabilities, to participate in sporting and recreational activities within a group environment.

Examples of equipment which has been funded, are specially adapted sports equipment, outdoor play equipment, soft play and multi-sensory equipment, riding equipment, pool hoists, water ski equipment and sports wheelchairs.

How to apply: Download application form on line. Upon receipt of a completed application form a representative of The Lord’s Taverners will visit your organisation to assess you. The SRSN Committee meets quarterly and applicants will be advised as soon after their meeting as possible of the outcome of their request.
