Active Kids is back, and with your help we can get even more kids active in 2011. As a proud partner of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, we’re encouraging everyone to take up an activity with our great new equipment for all ages and abilities.
With your help, we’ve donated over £100 million worth of equipment and experiences since Active Kids first launched in 2005.
Active Kids is all about inspiring kids to lead healthier lifestyles. We've loads of experiences and new equipment to try, so make sure your organisation gets the most out of it.
We want every child to benefit from Active Kids. So this year we're opening up Active Kids to more organisations than ever, and we've added brilliant new equipment like the SwimFin and Goalball, to suit all ages and abilities.
If you haven’t already done it, register your nursery, school, sports club, Scout or Guide group so you can start collecting vouchers when Active Kids kicks off on 9 February 2011.
The Sainsbury's Active Kids scheme delivers real benefits in the form of equipment and coaching, that go beyond the traditional curriculum-based sports and PE lessons, for all types of nurseries, schools, Scout and Guide groups and sports clubs, and for all ages and abilities.
Nurseries, schools, Scout and Guide groups, and Clubmark accredited sports clubs (or acceptable equivalent) can register for Active Kids and start collecting vouchers when the scheme launches on 9 February 2011.
Organisations can register by visiting sainsburys.co.uk/activekids/registration or by calling 0844 415 8440 Organisations that register with Active Kids will receive a welcome pack, which will include a catalogue and support materials to help rally the support of children and parents.
You can collect Active Kids vouchers between 9 February and 31 May 2011.
Active Kids vouchers can be redeemed against a wide range of active equipment, sports kit, coaching experiences for exciting activities such as dance, martial arts and cheerleading, and PGL activity holidays. You can also exchange your vouchers for gardening, or cooking equipment, and even for groceries from Sainsbury's via an Ingredients card.
