The Nat West Bank has announced that local charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations have the opportunity to win £6,000. 

The awards are made available through the NatWest’s Community Force which aims to support local communities in which the Bank operates.  

There is a three stage application process:
Applying
Voting 
Volunteering

Firstly, charities and projects need to apply for an award, then in September people will be able to vote for their favourite projects. The three projects with the most votes in each Community Force area will win £6,000 each; and finally when voting begins in the autumn, the public will be able to join NatWest staff in volunteering with local projects looking for help. 

The closing date for applications is the 4th September 2011.
